This is a little infographic I found off the Internet (link in the image’s description). And I felt it’s pretty awesome… And that most business SHOULD, in one way or another, put a little more Inbound marketing in their business marketing efforts.

So what is inbound marketing?

In my own words, I’ve managed to create a definition of the term. Check it out:

“Is a type of marketing that helps businesses get found online by people who are already highly motivated to purchase the business’ product or service.”

You can Google the word “Inbound marketing” if you want to but this definition is by far the simplest I can think of. Maybe the media with which Inbound marketing manifests itself might help you understand it better. Here’s a short list:

1. Blogging
2. Search engine optimization
3. Social media marketing
4. Freemiums (eBooks, Whitepapers, informational videos, etc)
5. Pay per click marketing
6. Podcasts

And the like.

It seems pretty daunting at first. But given enough time (and coffee), it’ll be a big help to your business.

With those three things in mind, start doing the things mentioned above and eventually, your business will reap the benefits.
