I’m a social media manager and consultant. Everyday, I consider it an honor and a privilege to look at Facebook, Twitter and any other social network and say “this is my job”. Life is just awesome.

So, just like any other regular work day, I check on my Facebook to find out if anything major’s happened. So far so good  - so I looked at another screen to listen to some awesome music. And, WONK, went something. Thought someone chatted me and I saw a good friend post an update about his upcoming event.

This was what I saw:

For those wondering, specs are 715 by 264 pixels.

Awesome, ain’t it? Facebook now gives you the option to put in cover photos for your events. Goes to show that Facebook is trying to go a little bit more visual.

So Facebook’s really updating some stuff lately. Quite frankly, I was surprised when they put in that new feature that allows you to hear stuff when you get notifications. This one’s an update from Fleire Castro‘s Facebook profile:
