Internet Marketing

Nowadays, people turn to the Internet for a lot of things. To meet people and connect, to learn new things and brush up on various studies and, most notably, to make money. It’s one of the best things that’s ever happened to humanity- make money while sitting with only your boxers on, some soda and chips, and your eyes on your computer’s screen.

Ideally, the Internet provides an equal playing field for all businesses whether small or large. Competition, however, still exists and in these parts, you’ll get left in the dust if you’re not really into geeking out.

For the most part,  Internet Marketing covers a lot of things and most of the, have different names.

Here are some examples:

Niche Market Research

Whether you’re in the real world or in the Internet, you have to choose the right kind of industry to keep yourself happy and sustained. With niche market research, you’ll find the right industry for you and keep your wallet happy too. It’s all about picking your spots and being entirely happy about it.

E-Commerce

If you’ve seen Amazon or Seton, you’ll notice that their websites have a list of items categorized into neatly arranged categories. Such categories also have their own respective categories… and so on and so forth. The two are notably known as eCommerce sites and they literally have thousands and thousands of pages in them. We’ll find out more soon enough.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is more than just registering in a reseller site and selling their merchants’ stuff. NO. It’s more than that. I personally think it’s an art of convincing people, coming from a space of honesty, that something works and they ought to buy it… and then cashing in on that referral. In any case, affiliate marketing isn’t as complicated as most people think it to be.

Web Analytics

Of course you want to know how well you’re doing with your online marketing efforts. But how do you do that when you’re bombarded with numbers, graphs and bounce rates by Google analytics? The answer is simple.

Know your goal and you’ll know where you are and how to get to your goal in an improved way. Analytics isn’t a monster… it’s just misunderstood.

Search Engine Optimization

Of course, SEO play a large part in getting business websites to appear in the front pages of the world’s largest repository of all earthly knowledge – the search engines. Title tags, content generation, white hat, black hat, grey hat, top hat, top cat, I’ll let you in on what I know and what I’m currently finding out in terms of search engine optimization.

and LOTS more..

I’d include Social media, but it’s in the next page

So if you’d keep reading, I’d let you in on stuff I’ve learned so we can both keep up.

It’s a relatively large world out there, so sit tight and relax. We’ll share our moments in this Internet marketing journey together.
